Jeff Pritsker returned to Florida State in November to become the Assistant Athletics Director for Business.
Pritsker came from Santa Clara University where he was the Assistant Athletics Director for Business. Pritsker oversaw Men’s and Women’s Rowing and Men’s and Women’s Water Polo as well as the budget and financial operations.
Pritsker received the 25-Year of Service Award from CABMA in June of 2023. This award, first presented in 1993, is given to individuals who have been an active member for 25 years and who have demonstrated outstanding service to CABMA and/or the field of intercollegiate athletics.
Pritsker first came to the Bay Area in September 2018 where he joined San Jose State Athletics as an Assistant Athletics Director. Less than two years later, he was bumped up to Associate Athletics Director and in May 2021 was named Associate Director of Budget Planning and Administration. During his time with the Spartans, Pritsker also served as a NCAA site representative for the 2019 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament at Stanford, USC and Santa Clara and the 2022 tournament at Stanford, the 2022 Softball regional at UCLA and the Super Regional at Stanford.
Prior to San Jose State, Pritsker worked at Sacramento State for four years as the Associate Athletic Director for Business from 2015-18. In addition to his duties in the business office, he was also tasked with serving as the sport administrator for the Hornets' women's soccer, gymnastics, men's golf and men's tennis programs.
Pritsker spent the four years prior to his stint at Sacramento State in Portland, Ore., as both an assistant and associate AD for business at Portland State. Along with his responsibilities in the business office, he also was the supervisor for softball and was the administrator for the Pacific Coast Softball Conference Tournament and the Big Sky Volleyball Tournament.
Pritsker was the assistant athletic director for business at Northern Arizona for three years, the final year of which he was promoted to interim associate athletics director for internal operations.
Prior to NAU, he had extensive experience in collegiate athletics and fiscal management at NCAA institutions, including previous positions at Central Florida (2004-07), South Dakota State (1998-99) and Marquette (1999-2000).
From 1994-98 and 2001-2002, Pritsker served as a graduate teaching assistant at Florida State. He taught issues in sport management, sport law, sport governance and history of sport. He also served as a graduate assistant in the athletics business office.
Pritsker received a master’s degree in business administration from Miami (Ohio) in December 1991 and bachelor of science in supervision from Purdue in December 1988.
Pritsker is a member of the College Athletic Business Managers Association and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics.
