Vicki Cupp is in her 18th year with Florida State athletics and 24th as an FSU employee in 2025, currently serving as the special assistant to administration and compliance.
She began her time at Florida State in 2002 as the immunization and health compliance coordinator at the Student Health Center. In 2008, she joined the athletics department as the office manager for student-athlete academic support. Cupp moved to athletics administration in December of 2011 and served as the special assistant to the Vice President and Director of Athletics until 2022. She then took on responsibilities as special assistant to administration and added the compliance to her tasks in 2025.
Cupp was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale but grew up bleeding Garnet and Gold. She attended Florida State University and then returned to South Florida, where she spent many years in human resources and operations management positions in the healthcare industry. In 1995, she opened a franchise business, Cookies by Design, which she owned for five years until moving to Tallahassee.
Cupp received her bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology from FSU and a master’s degree in health care administration from Nova Southeastern University.
When she is not working, you will find Vicki in the stands at FSU’s many sporting events as she enjoys supporting and mentoring our student-athletes.
