Volleyball Heads to Duke for Weekend Slate

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Volleyball re-routes its weekend plans as it prepares for two road matches at Duke this weekend at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Seminoles (6-3, 3-3) face the Blue Devils (8-3, 6-2) on Friday at 2 p.m. in an ACC match, followed by an 11 a.m. matinee on Saturday in what will be a non-conference match. Both contests will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
Florida State is an undefeated 5-0 this spring with two wins over Clemson and victories over UCF, Troy and Louisiana. FSU plays its first road match of the 2020-21 year since heading to Miami for a two-match swing on Oct. 15-16, 2020.
Senior middle blocker Taryn Knuth has been tremendous in the spring season, averaging 2.31 blocks per set and 2.56 kills per set. She is hitting at a strong .672 clip this spring.
Redshirt sophomore Morgan Chacon leads the Seminoles with 81 digs this year, followed Caroline Golden’s 70 digs.
Duke is coming off a five-set match vs. NC State where it fell 3-2 (16-25, 25-14, 23-25, 25-23, 6-15).
FSU is working on a seven-match win streak vs. the Blue Devils that dates back to 2015. The Seminoles own four consecutive wins at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
