FSU’s Andreza Santos Named All-ACC First Team

“I think Andreza had a great year,” said Florida State Head Coach Todd Kress. “She was injured and played the entire season with pain throughout her knee. She spent an hour a day in rehab yet she never complained. I think that shows the competitiveness and determination the kid has. Andreza has some special qualities people outside the program may not know about, so that’s what makes this honor so special.”
The ACC All-Freshmen Team highlighted six of the league’s top freshmen with players from Clemson,
Clemson outside hitter Jeannette Abbott, who became the Tigers’ freshman kill leader this season with 515, was tabbed the ACC Freshman of the Year. She is tied for second place for kills by a freshman in a single match, having posted 26 kills on two occasions this season. The Downers Grove,
