Four Seminoles Named to Volleyball All-ACC Academic Team

TALLAHASSEE - Four Florida State volleyball players were named to the All-ACC Academic Team on Wednesday afternoon. Delaney Ewing, Kyleene Filimaua, Nenu Kpea and Johanna Sova were all named to the team.

To be eligible for the All-ACC Academic Team, athletes must have been enrolled at the university for one full school year and hold a 3.00 cumulative GPA. Student-athletes also must have played in at least 50% of the team's contests.

Ewing wrapped up her first season with the Garnet and Gold with a 3.60 GPA while playing in every contest for FSU. Ewing recorded 143 kills and led the team with 121 blocks.

Filimaua was terrific for the Seminoles this season as she led the team with 443 kills which was the eighth most kills in FSU history. Filimaua earned Second Team Al-ACC honors and earned AVCA Southeast Region Honorable Mention. Filimaua currently holds a 3.26 GPA.

Kpea made a splash in her freshman season with the Seminoles as the freshman played in all 117 sets with 195 kills and 117 blocks. Kpea is just the fourth FSU freshman in the last 10 years to have over 100 blocks. Kpea finished the year with a 3.60 GPA.

Sova played in 21 matches for the Noles in 2025. Sova tallied 28 kills and 44 blocks for the Garnet and Gold. Sova posted a 3.70 GPA.
