Seminoles Host No. 10 Florida Friday Night

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State volleyball team (5-4) hosts No. 10 Florida (7-1) Friday night at 7 p.m. inside Tully Gymnasium.
Florida State enters Friday's matchup coming off its first sweep of the season, defeating previously unbeaten North Alabama, 3-0 on Monday night.
After not meeting in 2025, the Seminoles and Gators will meet in Tully Gym for the first time since a five-set match in 2023. Florida State is looking for its first win over Florida since 2021.
The Seminoles currently rank tied for first in the ACC in team assists with 470 and second in the conference with 496 kills.
Senior outside hitter Kyleene Filimaua ranks fourth in the ACC with 137 kills. She also ranks third in the conference with 163.5 points, good for 20th nationally.
Florida State's middle blockers have anchored the Seminoles at the net this season. Sophomore Nenu Kpea leads the team with 38 blocks while ranking tied for second on the team with 83 kills. Junior Delaney Ewing ranks fourth on the team with 82 kills and is second with 27 blocks.
Freshman outside hitter Sofia Moss tied her career high with 14 kills against North Alabama. She also recorded 10 digs for her second career double-double.
