BOSTON – The No. 24-ranked Florida State men’s tennis team won its third straight tennis match Sunday with a 6-1 victory against Boston College. The Seminoles improved to 11-8 on the season and are at the top of the conference race with a 4-1 ACC record.
“We had a great weekend and got two good ACC wins under our belt,” Florida State head coach Dwayne Hultquist said. “This upcoming weekend will probably be the most important matches of the season for us because both North Carolina and Duke are top-15 teams and at the top of the conference.
“All the of the guys played really well but I was really impressed with the play of Chris Cloer. He was vey focused. The same goes for Chris Westerhof and Jason Hood. They played really hard, hit the ball strong, and are really improving with each match.”
