No. 6 Softball Prepares to Play Six Home Games in Four Days

TALLAHASEE, Fla. – The sixth-ranked Florida State softball team (9-3) will host six games in four days at JoAnne Graf Field this week.
The Seminoles will host North Florida on Wednesday at 6 p.m. before they host the Unconquered Invitational on Thursday through Sunday. The Seminoles will play Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday at 6 p.m. before facing Lamar and the Eagles on Friday at 2:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. The Noles will wrap up the tournament with a doubleheader with Lamar and Troy at 2:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Saturday.

The Seminoles are coming off the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational where they picked up three ranked wins against No. 4 Arkansas, No. 15 Arizona and No. 22 Louisiana. The Seminoles were led by senior Kaley Mudge. Mudge was the lone Seminole to record a hit in each of the Seminoles’ five games in Clearwater, and she led the team in batting average (.412), hits (7) and RBIs (6).
In the circle, Allison Royalty has been great for the Noles. Royalty has made three starts for the Seminoles and is a perfect 3-0 with a 1.15 ERA.
