KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – Mirabel Ting is tied for 11th with an impressive round of 5 under par 67 in the first round of the LPGA Maybank Championship at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. Ting, who was named the ACC Golfer of the Month for October, continues to showcase her high level of talent. Her first-round stats reflect her focused and consistent play as she hit eight out of 14 fairways, averaged a driving distance of 271 yards, made 27 putts, and reached 14 out of 18 greens in regulation. Ting's short game was equally impressive, as she successfully converted one out of one sand saves and recorded six birdies, with just one bogey.

Ting begins second round play at 8:32 a.m. Friday (Malaysia time).
