No. 12 Men's Golf Finishes Seventh at Amer Ari Invitational

WAIMEA, Hawaii – The 12th-ranked Florida State Men's Golf team moved up five spots on the leaderboard in Saturday's final round, finishing seventh at the Amer Ari Invitational and shooting 47-under (273-280-264) overall.
The Seminoles had a strong final round where they shot 24-under, the lowest final round of any team in the field. The effort was punctuated by senior Frederik Kjettrup's career-low 62 on Saturday, which also tied for the lowest score at the tournament. Kjettrup's previous career low was 64 in three different tournaments.
Sophomore Luke Clanton earned his seventh career Top 10 finish, tying for eighth at 15-under (67-68-66). Kjettrup's 62 allowed him to move 40 spots up the leaderboard on Saturday and tie for 14th at 14-under (70-70-62).
Freshman Tyler Weaver tied for 36th at 10-under (65-72-69), while Cole Anderson tied for 55th at 7-under (72-70-67).
North Carolina won the tournament after shooting 68-under, followed by Arizona State (-63), Auburn (-58), Texas Tech (-57) and Washington (-57).
The Seminoles regroup and head out to the Watersound Invitational at Shark's Tooth Golf Club in Watersound, Fla., from Feb. 19-21.
