FSU Welcomes FGCU to Howser

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State baseball program returns home to host Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. The Seminoles remained perfect following a 3-0 showing at the First Pitch Invitational in Greenville, S.C., this past weekend.
The game will stream on ACC Network Extra. Fans in Tallahassee can listen on WFLA 100.7 FM or around the country on the FSU Gameday app.

Junior Conner Whittaker will start on the mound for the Seminoles on Wednesday. Whittaker will be making his third start of the season. In his last showing, he went 6.0 innings, striking out eight, giving up zero walks, and only allowed two earned runs as Florida State defeated USF last Tuesday, 12-4.
Florida Gulf Coast enters the game 4-7, and 1-3 on the road. The Eagles defeated Miami in Coral Gables 12-10 in 12 innings last Wednesday, before dropping their weekend series versus Xavier.
