Cal Raleigh's eight home runs are tied for first among catchers. Luke Weaver dominates in his two outings, and Tyler Holton bounces back with a strong performance.
Luke Weaver, P, New York Yankees
Weaver had two great outings on the week. In Baltimore, he struck out three and gave up only one hit in 2.0 innings. Back in the Bronx versus Detroit, he suffered only one knock while striking out four over 2.1 innings of work.
Cal Raleigh, C, Seattle Mariners
Raleigh homered in back-to-back games over the weekend against the Houston Astros. He now has eight home runs on the year which is tied for first amongst catchers in the MLB.
Tyler Holton, P, Detroit Tigers
In Holton's first appearance this past week he suffered one run on one hit in 1.0 inning of work versus St. Louis. He followed up with a perfect 1.2 frames that included two strikeouts versus the New York Yankees.
DJ Stewart, OF, New York Mets
Stewart hit his fourth blast of the year for a three-run shot against the Cubs last weekend. He ended the week with an RBI double versus the Cardinals.
Cole Sands, P, Minnesota Twins
Sands pitched in three games over the last week, highlighted by a perfect 1.0 inning appearance versus the Boston Red Sox for his second save of the season.
Taylor Walls, INF, Tampa Bay Rays
Walls started the season on the 10-Day Injured List and has since been moved to the 60-Day Injured List following hip surgery this offseason.
