Four Seminoles Named to 2024 All-ACC Academic Men's Golf Team

TALLAHASSEE – Gray Albright, Cole Anderson, Frederik Kjettrup and Tyler Weaver of Florida State Men's Golf were selected to the 2024 All-ACC Academic Team, announced on Monday by the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Kjettrup earns his fourth selection to the academic team, graduating in Sport Management this past spring. The Denmark native and recent U.S. Open qualifier finished as the league's men's golf scholar-athlete of the year in 2023, and completes a remarkable career with high honors both on and off the course.

Albright capped an All-ACC senior season by earning a spot on the All-ACC Academic Team, graduating with a degree in Real Estate. The Ocala, Fla., native walks away from his collegiate career with two tournament titles after having to spend his first three years fighting for a spot among the starting five. He is also a two-time selection to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Anderson earned his Finance Degree and was also selected to the All-ACC Academic Team for the first time. A native of Camden, Maine, the All-American recorded four Top 10 finishes in tournaments this past season, generating 19 rounds at par or lower.

Weaver is the lone recipient who returns to the Seminoles, finishing his first season as not only the ACC Freshman of the Year, but getting an academic nod as well. The Newmarket, England, native made noise at the NCAA Championships with his unblemished match play record, coming up big for the National Runner-Up Seminoles.
