School Record 15 Seminoles Earn All-ACC Academic Honors

TALLAHASSEE - A program record 15 Florida State softball players were named to the All-ACC Academic Team on Thursday afternoon. FSU's 15 honorees is tied for the second-most in the ACC and broke the previous school record of 12 honorees which was set last season.

Leading the Seminoles was Devyn Flaherty who picked up her fourth consecutive All-ACC Academic honor. Flaherty earned her Master's in Sport Management and sustained a 3.89 GPA. Flaherty was also named a CSC Third Team Academic All-American earlier this week.

Joining Flaherty as a CSC Academic All-American was Kaley Mudge who earned her third All-ACC Academic honor. Mudge earned her graduate certificate in athletic coaching this year and finished with a perfect 4.00 GPA.

Autumn Belviy, Jahni Kerr, Amaya Ross, Allison Royalty and Hallie Wacaser each earned their second All-ACC Academic honors of their career.

Jaysoni Beachum, Angelee Bueno, Ashtyn Danley, Madi Frey, Kennedy Harp, Annie Potter, Isa Torres and Emma Wilson all picked up their first All-ACC Academic honors.

FSU finished the 2024 season with a 46-16 after they hosted a NCAA Regional for the 10th consecutive season. FSU advanced to its 10th Super Regional in the last 11 seasons before falling to eventual National Champion Oklahoma.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests and 20 percent of their team's contests as a pitcher.
