Noles Head to Birmingham to Face Alabama in Ballin Boutin Exhibition

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's basketball team will face Alabama in the Ballin in Boutwell exhibition game on Thursday at 1 p.m. ET at the Boutwell Auditorium. The FSU men's basketball team will also face Alabama on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The games will air on the Hibbett YouTube page and live stats will run through statbroadcast.
Both the Florida State women and the Alabama women advanced to the second round of the 2025 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. Alabama leads the all-time series 6-5 after FSU fell 82-74 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in 2024.
Florida State led the nation in scoring in 2024-25 at 86.9 points per game, finishing the season with four players averaging double figures, including senior Sydney Bowles at 10.6 points per game. FSU also returns Amaya Bonner and Avery Treadwell for their third season with the Noles.
The Seminoles welcome seven new players to Tallahassee including six transfers and one freshman, Mari Gerton. Jasmine Shavers, Allie Kubek, Emma Risch and Sole Williams bring Power 4 experience, with Shavers and Kubek each coming to FSU with over 1,000 career points each. Pania Davis, who was the No.1 rated junior college prospect, is expected to make an impact at center.
