TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State soccer junior forward Jordynn Dudley has been honored as the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Dudley earns her second career ACC weekly accolade and FSU's second award of the year, after sophomore defender Janet Okeke was recognized as the ACC Defensive Player of the Week on September 16.
In leading the Seminoles to a 3-2 win at No. 3 Virginia on October 23, Dudley scored two goals and assisted on the game-winning score in the 89th minute.
With the result, Florida State moved up to No. 6 in this week's United Soccer Coaches national poll.
Thursday night in Charlottesville, Virginia, Dudley scored the tying goal in the 59th minute and gave FSU a 2-1 lead five minutes later. After UVA equalized, Dudley assisted on the game-winning goal in the 89th minute with 80 seconds remaining.
The two goals gave Dudley her sixth career brace, and the five-point game is the second-most in her career. She extended her point streak to 12 consecutive games, with multiple points in six of the last eight contests. Dudley has a team-best 11 assists and 25 points.
Dudley and the Seminoles return home for their final regular-season home game on Thursday, October 30, against RV Wake Forest. Kickoff at the Seminole Soccer Complex is at 6 p.m. ET on the ACC Network, and the team will honor its six seniors prior to the game.
