FSU Lacrosse Signs 16 in 2026 Class

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women's lacrosse team signed its second-ever recruiting class on Wednesday during the first day of the signing period for the 2026 class. Head Coach Sara Tisdale announced a class of 16 with five signees from New York and three from Florida. The 2026 class won a total of eight state championships, with signees earning All-American status seven times.
I'm incredibly excited to welcome our next class of Noles to the program, Tisdale said. This group brings tremendous talent, energy, and character. They'll add depth to our roster and an immediate spark to what we're building. The 2026 class already feels like they are a part of our family. They have invested so much into our program, building strong relationships with our players and staff through multiple visits and events.
Carys Albers | Midfield | 5-9 | Rockwall, Texas | Rockwall High School
Texas Division 1 All-State Midfielder…competed with Grit Lacrosse Club in Dallas…awarded Rockwall High School's midfield MVP and had 155 draw controls in a season…National Honor Society member and AP Scholar with Honors…grandfather Bud Jackson played football for the University of Texas…parents are Steve and Mitzi Albers.
Hadley Booth | Goalie | 5-7 | Charlottesville, Va. | St. Anne's-Belfield
Five-Star rated recruit by Inside Lacrosse…VISAA Division 1 state champion as a sophomore…competed with Capital Lacrosse Club…2025 AP Scholar with Honor Award recipient…head football manager for St. Anne's-Belfield and also competes in rowing…parents are Jon and Rachel Booth…mom ran cross country and track at Northwestern and Florida State…dad played hockey at Lake Forest College…brother, Peyton, plays lacrosse at Cornell.
Lauren Burns | Defender | 5-5 | Columbus, Ohio | Upper Arlington High School
Second Team All-Region and First Team OCC Central Division… competed with Impact Lacrosse Club…Honor roll student while also competing on the field hockey team…has three siblings, her brother Sam, her sister Alex, and her twin brother Ben…parents are Chris and Shelly Burns.
Indira Capelle | Midfield/Attack | 5-10 | Stillwater, Minn. | Stillwater Area High School
All-State honorable mention in 2025…All-American and Lacrosse Magazine watch list in 2024…American Select 2024… starting draw specialist/midfielder on the Stillwater Area High School varsity team as a freshman…competed with NXT Girls Lacrosse Club…Named UNC Elite Camp All-Star (2022)...Named U14 MVP (2022)...National Honor Society Member and is in Honors Choir… mom, Holly, played softball and volleyball at Lawrence University.
Olivia DeSimone | Defender/Midfield | 5-7 | Sayville, N.Y. | Sayville High School
Won the New York state championship in 2024... received the All-County Award in 2024 and 2025…earned second team All-State honors in 2025… member of the nationally ranked No. 3 Yellow Jackets 2026 team…National Honor Society member and is an AP Scholar while also playing basketball…parents are Richard and Gina DeSimone…mom played volleyball at Long Island University.
