Noles Continue Homestand Sunday vs. Charleston

TALLAHASSEE -Â The Florida State women's basketball team (4-7) returns to play by hosting the College of Charleston on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

The Seminoles and Cougars will meet for the third time in the series history and first since 2008. The series is tied after the Seminoles won the game on Nov. 20, 2008, 70-57.

Florida State is one of 27 programs in the country to have five players averaging 9.0 points per game or more. The Seminoles have four players averaging double figures, led by junior guard Solè Williams, who averages 16.1 points per game.

Graduate forward Allie Kubek has scored double figures in each of the last four games and led the Noles with 16 points against Notre Dame on Dec. 7.

The game will air on the ACC Network Extra with Ariya Massoudi, Genesis Bryant and Ansly Topchik on the call. The Seminole Sport Network will air on 96.5 The Spear and the Sirius XM app with Jack Kavovit and Melissa Bruner.

The Seminoles opened ACC play against No. 18/19 Notre Dame on Dec. 7 at home.

FSU had three players contribute double figures, led by Kubek (16). Emma Risch scored 12 points and Pania Davis added 10. Kubek became the fifth different player to lead the team in scoring in a game this season.

Risch led the team with a career-high of six rebounds. She also set a career high at the free throw line, making seven. Risch tied her career best of four assists.
