Noles Host South Carolina State on Saturday for Holiday Hoops

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women's basketball team (4-9, 0-2 ACC) will host South Carolina State (3-10) on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center to close the five-game homestand for December.
The game is tabbed as Holiday Hoops. Fans can participate in an ugly sweater contest and Santa Cimarron will be available for photos in the concourse.
The Seminoles and Bulldogs will meet for the first time in program history. In addition to Nicholls State and Oklahoma, South Carolina State will be the third first-time opponent this season.
The game will air on ACC Network Extra with Trevor DeGroot and Jacob Ridenhour on the call. The Seminole Sport Network can be found on 96.5 The Spear and on the Sirius XM app.
The Last Time Out
Florida State hosted Virginia Tech on Thursday night.
Jasmine Shavers led the team in scoring and in rebounds, posting 19 points and eight boards, as all eight players contributed points.
Allie Kubek, Tatum Greene and Pania Davis grabbed seven rebounds each and Avery Treadwell added her career high in steals with two. Mari Gerton also tied her career best with two assists and two steals.
