No. 20 Noles Out in Front at Seminole Intercollegiate

THOMASVILLE, Ga.  – The No. 20 Florida State men's golf team played 36 holes on Monday at the Seminole Intercollegiate at the Glen Arven Country Club.  In cool, wet conditions, the Seminoles lead the field with a score of 16-under, 544.
 
The Seminoles completed both rounds, however play was called with three pairs still playing and will resume on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m.
 
Haskins Watch List Award nominee, Luke Clanton tied his career round low, shooting 64 in the opening round, leading the field at 6-under.  In the second, he added 66 and leads at 10-under, 130.
 
Jack Bigham and Tyler Weaver both turned in scores of 68 in the first round and Carson Brewer followed at 69.
 
In the second round, Bigham added 69 and sits 3-under, 137 tied for sixth place, while Brewer is 1-under, 139 after shooting 70.
 
Competing individually, Wilmer Edero shot his career low, posting 66 in the opening round. He added a round of 69 and sits in a tie for third place at 5-under, 135.
 
After scoring even at 70 in the opening round, Michael Mays shot 68 in the second and is in tied for 10th place at 2-under, 138.
 
Third round play is expected to start at 8:45 a.m.
