FSU Baseball Selected for Additional Game on ACC Network

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State baseball team's game against North Carolina on Friday, May 16, has been selected to be broadcast nationally on ACC Network.
 
With the elevation to a national TV broadcast, first pitch at Dick Howser Stadium has been moved back one hour to 7 p.m. ET. The matchup between two of the top four teams in the ACC at the midway point of the conference season is a rematch of two 2024 College World Series squads.
 
The Friday contest vs. UNC is now one of nine games on linear television for FSU during the 2025 regular season. Five are at home and four are on the road. Five of the nine games are still to come on the Florida State schedule.
 
The No. 7-ranked Seminoles are on TV twice this weekend against Virginia at Dick Howser Stadium. Another CWS rematch from a year ago, the opener on Thursday, April 17, is on the ACC Network, and game two on Friday, April 18, is on ESPN2. Both games will begin at 7 p.m.
 
A Florida State baseball-softball doubleheader is slated for Sunday, April 27 on ACC Network, with both Seminole teams at Louisville. It's the series finale in the Derby City, as baseball gets the ACCN takeover started at 3 p.m., followed by softball at 6 p.m.
 
FSU and UNC close out the regular season with two of the three games now on the ACC Network. Friday's game is added to the already-scheduled TV contest on Thursday, May 15. Both games will start at 7 p.m.
 
Every other game the rest of the regular season will be streamed live on ACCNX. Along with watching games on ESPN2, ACC Network and ACCNX, fans can listen to every game, home and away, on WFLA 100.7 FM, the FSU Gameday App and Seminoles.com.
 
Up next, Florida State hosts Virginia from April 17-19 at Dick Howser Stadium. The 2024 CWS rematch begins on Thursday, April 17, at 7 p.m. ET, on ACC Network. Game two on Friday is at 7 p.m. on ESPN2, followed by the finale on Saturday at 2 p.m. on ACCNX. Tickets are available at Seminoles.com/Tickets or by calling the FSU ticket office at 850-644-1830.

Additionally, it was announced on Wednesday that head coach Link Jarret will be on Inside Seminole Athletics on Monday, April 21, airing live at Bowden's in CollegeTown. Coach Jarrett is live on the show from 7:30-8 p.m. ET, following softball head coach Lonni Alameda from 7-7:30 p.m. Fans can watch the show on the Seminoles Unconquered App, the Florida State Seminoles Facebook page and on the Florida State softball and baseball Twitter/X accounts.
