No. 11 Noles, Clanton Extend Lead at Tallahassee Regional

TALLAHASSEE – The No. 11 Florida State men's golf team extended its lead to 14 strokes on the second day of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course.
Florida State sits 21-under, ahead of No. 5 Ole Miss and No. 22 Georgia.
Luke Clanton extended his lead after nearly carding an albatross on the fourth hole. Clanton made the turn with a three-stroke lead at 9-under and finished the day matching his 66 from Monday. Clanton sits 12-under, 132 and holds the lead by six strokes.
Gray Albright moved up eight spots and is in third place after shooting 69. Albright hit three birdies on the back nine and sits at 5-under, 139.
Tyler Weaver and Jack Bigham both shot 73, as Weaver is tied for ninth place at 3-under, 141. Bigham is tied for 19th along with Carson Brewer, who carded an eagle on the fourth hole.
The Seminoles will be paired with the Rebels and Bulldogs on Wednesday for the final round, starting at 7:30 a.m.
