Florida State’s Ting And Woad Named Golfweek First-Team All-Americans

TALLAHASSEE – Mirabel Ting and Lottie Woad, who helped the Florida State women's golf team to a program-record seven wins this past season, have been selected as First-Team All-Americans by Golfweek. Woad has now been named a First-Team All-American by Golfweek in two of her three seasons as a Seminole, while Ting is now a three-time All-American by Golfweek during her career (Third-Team in 2023 while at Augusta State, Honorable Mention in 2024 at Florida State, and now First-Team in 2025 at Florida State).
Ting led the Seminoles with a program record 68.77 stroke average in 26 rounds during nine collegiate tournaments as a junior. She totaled 25 of 26 rounds at par or better, played each of her 26 rounds during the season at 75 or better, earned a career-high five individual victories, and totaled nine top-six finishes. Ting finished outside the top three in the individual standings in an event only once during her junior season.
Ting was named the 2025 ACC Golfer of the Year and earned All-ACC honors for the second time in her two seasons at Florida State.
Ting finished the season an incredible 80 strokes under par – including a total of 28 strokes under par in three postseason events at the ACC Championship (minus eight), the NCAA Lexington Regional (minus 10) and the NCAA Championship Finals (minus 10). She was under par in each of her nine collegiate tournaments, and was below par in each of her final 16 rounds of the season.
For her career, which includes 24 events and 70 rounds played, Ting is an incredible total of 76 strokes under par.
Woad has earned First-Team All-American honors twice by Golfweek and three times by the WGCA and is the first five-time First-Team All-American in school history.
Woad finished her junior season with a 70.06 stroke average – the third-best single-season stroke average in school history. She now owns three of the top seven single-season stroke averages in school history -- 70.04 (second all-time, 2024), 70.06 (third all-time, 2025), and 71.06 (seventh all-time. 2023). Woad is ranked first in school history with a 70.42 stroke average in 89 rounds during 30 events.
As a junior, the three-time All-ACC selection led the team with 28 of 32 rounds scored at par and with 32 of 32 rounds scored at 75 or better. She finished under par in 10 of her 11 collegiate events, tied the school record with a score of 65 twice, and won two individual championships (at the Landfall Tradition and at the Moon Invitational).
Wad finished the 2024-25 season at 60 strokes under par.
Woad has won six individual championships during her career – the 2002 ACC/Ivy League Challenge, the 2023 Florida State Match Up, the 2023 ANNIKA Intercollegiate, the 2024 Landfall Tradition, and the 2025 Moon Invitational. She is the all-time program leader with four scores at 65 – matching the all-time single-round program record.
Of the last 10 individual championships won by a Seminole, Ting (six) and Woad (four), have combined to win all 10 since the fall of 2022.
Florida State and Stanford were the only two teams in the nation that had multiple players named as First-Team All-Americans by Golfweek in 2025.
