Noles Head South to Face Miami on Sunday

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida State women's basketball team (5-11, 0-4 ACC) will travel south to face Miami (10-6, 2-3 ACC) on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Watsco Center.
After two wins in 2024-25, the Seminoles hold the series lead, 53-19 and have won the previous four meetings.
Florida State has five players that average 9.0 points per game or more, led by Solè Williams who is averaging 16.1 per game.
The Seminoles lead the ACC with 14.88 free throw made per game and Jasmine Shavers leads the ACC in free throw percentage at 88.5 percent.
The game will air on the ACC Network with Jay Alter and Brooke Weisbrod on the call. The Seminole Sport Network will air on 96.5 The Spear and in the Sirius XM app with Jack Kavovit and Melissa Bruner on the call.
The Last Time Out
Despite trailing by 17 points, the Seminoles took Virginia to double overtime on Jan. 4, falling 91-87 at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. Florida State outscored the Cavaliers 35-22 in the second half to force overtime.
Williams contributed her career high of 28 points, tying the game with 6.2 seconds remaining after a drive to the basket. She finished with 11 field goals made, producing the second-best tally in ACC games this season.
Shavers added 18 points, while Amaya Bonner tallied a season-best 15. Bonner tied her career highs in blocks (3), rebounds (6) and steals.
Tatum Greene led the attack on the boards, tying her career high of 10 rebounds. She also added eight points.
Allie Kubek dished four assists for the second consecutive game, tying a season best.
