FSU Hosts Villanova for Annual Senior Day Meet

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The No. 12/NR Florida State swimming and diving team will host its annual Senior Day meet against Villanova on Tuesday, January 6 at 2 p.m. ET at Morcom Aquatics Center.
FSU will recognize its 16 seniors who are concluding their careers in Tallahassee this season, with the Senior Day ceremony set for 1:30 p.m. Admission is free, and fans are encouraged to attend to celebrate the senior class.

"We can't wait to celebrate our seniors," FSU head coach Neal Studd said. "This group has given so much to our program, and it's always special to honor them in front of everyone. We're looking forward to one last home meet of the season."
Sixteen seniors will be honored on Tuesday, Mabry Bishop, Sam Bork, Julia Brzozowski, Kiara Caamano, Kayleigh Clark, Nico Cecchi, Tommaso Baravelli, Marcos Egri-Martin, Sarah Evans, Sophie Freeman, Mika Heideyer, Reese Hinnerichs, Utku Kurtdere, Julia Mansson, Jaka Pusnik and Max Wilson.
Tuesday afternoon's meet marks the Seminoles' first competition of the 2026 portion of the season. Florida State's men moved up four spots to No. 12 in the December 18 CSCAA Coaches Poll, while the women remain unranked.
Villanova also will open up 2026 in Tallahassee. The Wildcats most recently coming off the Navy Invite, while the women also finished as runners-up at the CSCAA Collegiate 5K Open Water Championship in mid-December.
FSU closed out 2025 at the Georgia Invite. The men's team, ranked 16th at the time, finished third overall ahead of two top-20 programs, then-No. 13 LSU and No. 14 Alabama. The women posted a fifth-place finish as both teams faced four top-25 foes.
Following the Georgia Invite, the diving team wrapped up 2025 at the USA Diving Winter Nationals, with multiple Seminoles advancing to finals across platform, 10-meter, 1-meter and 3-meter events. Redshirt senior Kayleigh Clark led the way, finishing fifth in both the women's platform and synchronized 3-meter events.
Up next, Florida State will travel to Athens, Georgia, to face Georgia in a dual meet on Saturday, January 10. The Seminoles' complete schedule can be found at Seminoles.com (Men | Women).
