FSU Lacrosse Announces Inaugural Schedule

TALLAHASSEE -Â The Florida State lacrosse team will host eight games at the Seminole Lacrosse Complex this spring as part of its 16-game inaugural schedule announced Wednesday afternoon.
The 39-player roster consists of 25 transfers and 14 true freshmen. All 25 transfers come from Division I programs and have combined for 456 collegiate appearances, more than 185 goals, and eight conference honors. The 14 true freshmen arrived at Florida State with 10 state championships, six All-American honors, and the 2024 Orange County Player of the Year award among them.
The Seminoles will begin competition in their inaugural game on February 7, against Stetson. FSU will host Kennesaw State the following Monday, February 9.
Florida State will then hit the road for a weekend trip to California, playing at Cal on February 13 in its first conference game before concluding the trip at UC Davis on February 15.
The Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational will take place on February 21 at BT Harvey Stadium at Morehouse College, where the Seminoles will take on Army at 6 p.m. Tickets can be found at Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational — 285 Lacrosse
FSU returns home for the Seminole Lacrosse Complex's first ACC game on February 24. The contest against Boston College will also be Florida State's "Paint It Pink" game in support of cancer awareness.Â
The Seminoles head back on the road for two more conference games at North Carolina on February 27 and at Louisville on March 4.
Florida State hosts a three-game homestand when it returns in March, beginning with ACC opponents Virginia (March 8) and Virginia Tech (March 14). FSU will conclude the homestand against Gardner-Webb on March 18 for its Military Appreciation game.
The Seminoles will end the month heading to Notre Dame on March 21 before hosting Senior Day against Duke on March 29.
FSU will play its final two road games at Pitt on April 5 and at Kent State on April 7.
The final home game of the season against Clemson will take place on Seminole Spring Weekend, which is also featured as the Seminole Heritage game on April 16.Â
