TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State volleyball team (10-6, 4-1 ACC) hits the road for a pair of top-five matchups this weekend, opening at No. 2 Pitt (15-1, 5-1) before heading to Dallas to face No. 5 SMU (13-3, 5-1).
Florida State has won four straight matches, taking 12 of its last 13 sets. The Seminoles are off to a 4-1 start in ACC play, their best conference start since 2023. FSU enters the weekend following a 3-0 sweep of Clemson on Sunday.

Filimaua recorded double-digit kills in meetings with Pitt and SMU last season, highlighted by a career-high 25 kills against SMU.
Freshman outside hitter Sofia Moss continues to make an impact, ranking second on the team with 45 kills in ACC play while adding 34 digs.
Opposite hitter Bailey Higgins also continues to be a key contributor for the Seminoles, recording 34 kills, 40 digs and 12 blocks in ACC play.
