TALLAHASSEE – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced that the soccer game between Florida State and North Carolina, originally scheduled for October 9 in Tallahassee and postponed due to Hurricane Isaias' impact along the Gulf Coast, will not be rescheduled.
The two programs, working in conjunction with the ACC office, were unable to identify a mutually available date to reschedule the contest.
As the regular season concludes, the ACC's current points-based protocol will be used to determine the regular-season champion and seeding for the 2026 ACC Women's Soccer Championship.
Fans with single-game tickets to the game will have their order refunded. Season ticket holders will be allowed to claim general-admission tickets for a regular-season home game for the same quantity of season tickets they have. Additional questions may be directed to the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at 850-644-1830.
With the game cancelation, Florida State's Paint It Pink Game, presented by TMH, will be rescheduled for the matchup vs. Duke on Thursday, October 29, at 8 p.m. ET. Additional details, including the jersey auction, will be announced next week. FSU's Seminole Heritage game will now be held on Thursday, November 5 vs. Virginia Tech at 6:30 p.m., which also is Senior Night at the Seminole Soccer Complex.
Up next for Florida State is a top-20 matchup in Tallahassee, as No. 15 FSU hosts No. 17 Notre Dame on Saturday, October 24, at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for all fans now at Seminoles.com/Tickets or by calling the FSU Athletics Ticket Office at 850-644-1830. Admission is free for all FSU students with their Unconquered Pass.
