No. 7 Beach Volleyball Heading South for Match Play

TALLAHASSEE – The No. 7 beach volleyball team is heading south for a multi-match week, taking on No. 14 Stetson and Texas A&M – Corpus Christi in DeLand, Florida before competing in the Florida Atlantic Beach Invitational from March 14-15.
The Seminoles are 21-0 all-time versus the Hatters, completing a 5-0 match sweep in DeLand the last time they met. Florida State managed to earn four of five dual points in only two sets. These programs have competed since FSU's inaugural season in 2012, when the Noles began a five-match complete dual win streak against Stetson.
Florida State is also undefeated against the Islanders, an opponent the Seminoles have not seen since the 2024 Unconquered Invitational in Tallahassee. FSU has dropped only one court in the six meetings between the schools, winning 17 dual points total.
The Noles will then travel to Boca Raton, Florida to take on familiar foes No. 15 FAU, UTampa, and No. 6 TCU. Florida State will also meet No. 3 USC for the first time this season, attempting to add a seventh win overall and begin a win streak against the Trojans.
