Durish and Koenig Add Big 12, AVCA Pair of the Week Honors

TALLAHASSEE – Alexis Durish and Audrey Koenig earned their second Big 12 Pair of the Week honor and were selected as the AVCA/CBVB Pair of the Week after an undefeated weekend versus ranked opponents in Pompano Beach.
The pair remained undefeated on the season and has not dropped a set in 10 matches together in 2026. Durish and Koenig took down No. 13 FAU at 21-18, 21-15 before facing No. 3 USC for match two. The pair snapped the Trojans eight-match win streak on the first court at 21-14, 21-16.
Durish and Koenig opened the second day by defeating UTampa at 21-16, 21-13. The duo's final match of the weekend came against Big 12 opponent No. 6 TCU, a program that hadn't lost since February 20. They closed the tournament and their winning weekend by getting the victory at 21-18, 21-16.
The pair has won 20 sets in a row and scored a combined 420 points, allowing only 292 against. Durish is only two wins away from reaching 100 career victories in the garnet and gold.
As a team, Florida State improved to 15-1 on the season after a perfect 4-0 weekend in Pompano Beach. FSU continues their season in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, this weekend and will face new Big 12 rivals in Boise State and Arizona State.
