ATLANTA – The Florida State swimming and diving team concluded its swimming events and continued diving competition Friday at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Seminoles took part in the 100 backstroke and 200 breaststroke individual events, while also competing on the 3-meter springboard during day three of the four-day championships.
"It was a good day of racing, just a little short of scoring," FSU head coach Neal Studd said. "The girls all represented us well."
On springboard, redshirt senior Kayleigh Clark represented the Noles on 3-meter, placing 31st with a score of 279.95. Clark will return to competition Saturday afternoon in her final NCAA appearance on platform, where she earned a bronze medal at the 2026 ACC Championships.
Closing out Florida State's swimming slate on Friday, freshman Lucy Porter placed 32nd in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:09.93 in her first NCAA Championships appearance. Sophomore Alice Velden finished 40th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.51.
Platform diving prelims begin at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, with the top eight finishers advancing to finals.
All sessions will be streamed live on ESPN+. Live results can be found at Meet Mobile and online here, and additional championships info is available here. Direct links and live updates can be found by following and connecting with the Seminoles on Twitter/X, Instagram and Facebook.
