Noles Close Regular Season at Home with Matchups Against No. 22 Duke and No. 5 North Carolina

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women's tennis team (6-14, 2-8 ACC) wraps up its regular season at home this weekend, hosting No. 22 Duke (15-6, 8-2) Friday at 4 p.m. before facing No. 5 North Carolina (21-2, 9-1) Sunday for Senior Day at noon.
Florida State has won the last two meetings against Duke at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center, including a 6-1 victory in 2024. The Seminoles will be looking for their first victory over the Tar Heels since 2011.
FSU enters the weekend on a two-match ACC win streak after home victories over Boston College and Syracuse. Senior Cade Cricchio delivered the clinching singles point in both matches on Court 5.
Junior Eva Shaw leads the team with a 12-10 singles record heading into the final weekend, including five Court 1 victories.
In doubles, Cricchio and Mary Boyce Deatherage continue to be strong, posting an 8-2 ACC record and a 12-8 mark overall.
