Fullbrook Earns Second Team All-America Honors from Golfweek

TALLAHASSEE Â -Â Â Florida State women's golf sophomore Sophia Fullbrook was named a Second Team All-American by Golfweek on Wednesday.

Following the NCAA Championship, where she placed 20th overall at even par, 288, Fullbrook also captured Second Team All-American accolades from the Women's Golf Coaches Association.

This season, Fullbrook played in 12 tournaments, finishing first or tied for the win in three, and placed within the top 10 seven times. She finished with an average of 71.16, tying for the eight-best average in program history. Â She finished the season ranked 18th by Scoreboard and is listed 38th in the World Golf Amateur Rankings.

Prior to the NCAA Championship, Fullbrook was named All-ACC and earned ACC co-Golfer of the Month for March.
Fullbrook brings home the 27th All-America honor from Golfweek by a Florida State player in program history, dating back to 2006.
Fullbrook was named to the Curtis Cup team for the R&A, which will take place June 12-14 at the Bel-Air Country Club.
