Kenny, Ward Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women's lacrosse team placed two student-athletes on the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

Sophomores Meg Kenny and Lydia Ward earned the recognition by maintaining at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA while participating in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.

Kenny started all 16 games for the Seminoles this season, leading the team in multiple offensive categories, including goals (30), assists (13) and points (43). The sophomore recorded at least one point in 15 of 16 games and finished the season on a 12-game point streak.

Ward started 14 games this season as one of Florida State's most versatile players, totaling 18 goals, eight assists, 34 draw controls and nine caused turnovers. The sophomore contributed in all areas of the field, ranking among the team's leaders in draw controls while also providing a consistent offensive presence.

The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The honor highlights student-athletes who excel academically while making significant contributions to their teams throughout the season.
