Fullbrook, Pedrique Named to All-ACC Academic Team

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State's Sophia Fullbrook and Layla Pedrique were named to the 2026 Women's Golf All-ACC Academic Team, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday.
 
Fullbrook, a junior majoring in psychology, earned All-ACC Academic Team honors for a second straight year following one of the finest seasons in program history.  On the course, she garnered Second Team All-America recognition from both Golfweek and the WGCA, ending the season by finishing 20th at the NCAA Championship.  Off the course, she was recently a CSC Academic All-District selection.
 
She competed in 12 tournaments during the season, earning three individual victories at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, the Coach Mo Classic, and the Florida State Match Up.  Fullbrook recorded seven top 10 finishes and posted a 71.16 stroke average, tying for the eighth-lowest single-season scoring average in Florida State history. She concluded the season ranked No. 18 by Scoreboard and is currently No. 35 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
 
Pedrique, a sophomore majoring in pre-finance, appeared in nine tournaments for the Seminoles during the 2025-26 season.  Her top performance came at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, where she tied for 26th place to help Florida State finish second and advance to the NCAA Championship.  She finished the year with a 75.88 stroke average.
 
Thirty-four Seminoles have been named to the All-ACC Academic Women's Golf Team a total of 69 times since the award was established in 2006.
 
To be eligible for the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have earned a 3.0 grade point average during the previous semester and maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 throughout their academic career. Student-athletes also must have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
