TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Coming off a stellar sophomore season, Florida State's Sophia Fullbrook was one of 25 golfers named to the preseason watch list for the 2026-27 ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel, as announced Thursday by the Haskins Foundation.

Fullbrook enjoyed a standout 2025-26 campaign, earning Second Team All-America honors from both Golfweek and the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) while also being named to the All-ACC Team, finishing the season ranked No. 18 in the country by Scoreboard. She is currently ranked 24th by the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).

The St. Albans, England, native posted a 71.09 scoring average over 34 stroke-play rounds last season. Fullbrook led the Seminoles with 23 rounds at or below par while totaling seven top 10 finishes. She was Florida State's top finisher in eight of its 11 stroke-play tournaments.

Fullbrook was particularly impressive during the spring, capturing individual titles in three of her final five events. Included in that late run was a tie for 20th-place at the NCAA Championship.

Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel is presented annually to the top female Division I collegiate golfer. The winner is selected through voting by Division I players, coaches and members of the golf media. The award is named for LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam and was created in partnership with the Haskins Commission to recognize the top female collegiate golfer, complementing the Haskins Award presented by Stifel for men's golf.

Florida State has a strong history with the ANNIKA Award, with Mirabel Ting becoming the first Seminole in program history to win the award in 2025. Former Seminoles Lottie Woad (2024) and Frida Kinhult (2019) have also been finalists for the prestigious honor.
