Florida State Softball Announces 2026 Fall Schedule

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State softball team and head coach Lonni Alameda announced their eight-game 2026 fall ball schedule Thursday afternoon. The Seminoles will play the first five games at the Seminole Softball Complex before traveling to Gulf Shores, Alabama, for two games against LSU and concluding the fall at Florida.
Florida State will open its fall schedule on Oct. 2 against Chipola College before hosting Florida A&M on Oct. 4.
FSU will return to action the following week against Troy on Oct. 10. Florida State will conclude its home slate with games against Gulf Coast State College on Oct. 17 and Auburn on Oct. 18.
FSU will then travel to Gulf Shores, Alabama, for a pair of games against LSU on Oct. 24 and 25 and will conclude its fall schedule on Nov. 13 at Florida.
Florida State is the only team in the country returning two All-American pitchers in Ashtyn Danley and Jazzy Francik. The Seminoles also return freshman All-Americans Anna Hinde and Makenna Sturgis.
The Seminoles added several key pieces during the offseason, including ASUN Player of the Year Nicole Edmiaston, Tennessee transfer Ella Dodge and Temple College transfer Kaiyah Ratu. Edmiaston posted a .453 batting average, .561 on-base percentage and .900 slugging percentage, all of which were Stetson school records. She also set school records with 23 home runs and 70 RBI across 57 games for the Hatters. Dodge helped Tennessee reach the Women's College World Series semifinals in both 2025 and 2026, while Ratu hit .381 with 19 home runs and 61 RBI in 54 games in 2026.
