Mirabel Ting Earns LPGA Tour Card

The former Seminole clinched her LPGA Tour card after a remarkable season on the Epson Tour
TALLAHASSEE – Former Florida State women's golf standout Mirabel Ting has clinched her LPGA Tour card for the 2027 season, capping a remarkable first season on the Epson Tour.

"It's kind of my dream since I was a little kid," Ting said of hearing herself called an LPGA Tour rookie for the first time. "And obviously my grandfather's dream, my dad's dream, my grandmother's dream, and my sister's dream too. So, part of wanting to be on the LPGA is also because of her. I want to be there and do my best."

Ting has made the most of her first professional season, making the cut in 15 of her 17 Epson Tour starts while recording two victories and 11 top 10 finishes.

Ting's breakthrough season included a runner-up finish at the Hartford HealthCare Women's Championship before she claimed her first professional victories at the Smoky Mountain Championship and Dream First Bank Charity Classic, which propelled her to the top spot in the Race for the Card standings.

She currently ranks third on the Epson Tour in scoring average at 69.33 and leads the tour with 28 rounds in the 60s.

The accomplishments continue a career that already ranks among the most decorated in Florida State women's golf history.

In her final season as a Seminole, Ting set the school record for the lowest single-season scoring average at 68.77 and won five individual titles. She finished the season 80 strokes under par while leading Florida State to a program-best third-place finish at the NCAA Championship Finals at Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
"I am extremely proud of Mirabel for securing her 2027 LPGA card," said Florida State women's golf head coach Amy Bond. "She has worked very hard and played well this season. I am excited for her and can't wait to watch her out on tour next year."

Ting was named the 2024-25 Golfweek Women's College Golf Player of the Year and earned National Golfer of the Year honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association and the ANNIKA Award. She was also a WGCA and Golfweek First-Team All-American and was named the 2025 ACC Golfer of the Year, becoming the fourth Seminole to earn the conference's top individual honor.

A native of Miri, Malaysia, Ting won seven collegiate events during her career, including six during her two seasons at Florida State. She will join former Seminoles Amanda Doherty, Frida Kinhult, Morgane Metraux, and Lottie Woad on the LPGA Tour.

She turned professional in July 2025 and made her professional debut at the Amundi Evian Championship.
