TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – The Florida State Volleyball team begins the critical month of November with a road trip this weekend, taking on Clemson on Friday at 7 p.m. and No. 14 Georgia Tech on Sunday at 3 p.m.
Friday’s match vs. the Tigers (11-12, 3-9) will be streamed on ACC Network Extra, while Sunday’s match vs. the Yellow Jackets (19-3, 10-2) airs on the ACC’s regional sports networks, which includes Bally Sports South and Bally Sports Sun.

The Seminoles (16-5, 9-3) are currently ranked 15th in the latest NCAA RPI and stand at fifth in the latest ACC standings. The ACC has eight teams rated in the Top 50 of the RPI, including Pitt (1), Louisville (3), Georgia Tech (7), Miami (13), FSU (15), North Carolina (23), Notre Dame (37) and Syracuse (44).
The Seminoles are 4-3 in true road matches this season, owning ACC wins at Notre Dame, Duke, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. In road matches this season, freshman libero Emery Dupes is averaging 4.23 digs per set.
Florida State’s passing has been its biggest strength this season. The Seminoles lead the ACC in digs per set at 16.41, more than one dig per set better than second-place Miami (15.25).

The Seminoles own a 40-20 all-time record vs. Clemson, including a current 15-match win streak in the series. FSU is 22-33 against the Yellow Jackets and are on a three-match slide vs. Georgia Tech.
The last time Morgan Chacon faced Clemson last season on Feb. 13, 2021, she recorded a career-high six blocks, while Lauryn Burrows added a career-high five assists.
Chacon is averaging 3.04 points per set in her FSU career, currently standing as one of just 18 Seminoles in program history to average 3.0 points per set or more. If she can sustain that pace, she would join Visnja Djurdjevic, Nicole Walch, Jekaterina Stepanova, Milica Kubura and Taryn Knuth as players since 2010 who have reached that threshold in their careers.
Over the course of FSU’s four-match win streak, sophomore right-side hitter Sydney Conley has elevated FSU’s offense by hitting .326 during that span while averaging 2.57 kills per set.
Lily Tessier is looking to become just the second Seminole in the rally scoring era to record 10 or more assists per set in a season (Nikki Baker averaged 10.89 in 2008). Tessier is averaging 10.23 assists per set this season.
Following Sunday’s match at Georgia Tech, FSU has a quick turn-around with a home match vs. UNF on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 5 p.m.
