Guite, from Huntington Beach, California, was promoted to Florida State’s Director of Baseball Operations prior to the 2024 season after serving as the Director of Player Development in 2023. Prior to arriving in Tallahassee, Guite spent three seasons as the director of operations at Notre Dame, where he worked under current FSU head coach Link Jarrett and alongside FSU assistant coach Brad Vanderglas. Before his time in South Bend, Guite was an assistant coach at Georgetown College in Kentucky after two years as a volunteer coach at UNC-Greensboro under Jarrett.
 

Guite was a two-year letterwinner for the Spartans from 2013-14, playing in 68 games at third base. As a senior, he earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors after hitting .366 with 74 hits, 52 runs scored, 15 doubles, three home runs and 21 RBI.


In the classroom, Guite was a Capital One Academic All-District First Team as a senior, earning SoCon All-Academic honors both years at UNCG before graduating with a degree in sociology in 2014. At Florida State, Guite oversees all aspects of the baseball program.
