WHY I WEAR MY NUMBER
I wear No. 22 at Florida State (and also at UCF) because it’s the number my dad wore when he was a collegiate player at George Washington (1995-98).  He played in 89 games and in the NCAA Tournament in both 1996 and 1998.
Darin Green, Jr. is the 22nd player in school history to wear uniform No. 22.  Tim Pickett, who was an All-ACC First-Team selection in 2004 and inducted into the Florida State athletics Hall of Fame in 2022, also wore No. 22 during his career (2003-04).

WHAT'S IN A NAME
My full name is Darin Keven Green, Jr.  I am named after my father.
