A rapidly-improving player who will be a team leader as a senior…career-low three-round score of 208 came in a top-25 performance at the 2022 Cabo Collegiate…career-low single round score of 66 in the second round of the 2023 Watersound Invitational…fits into the Seminoles’ culture of academic achievement with his background that helped him make an easy transition to classroom success as a collegiate student-athlete…a two-time named to the 2024 ACC Academic Honor Roll…earned Florida State academic Dean’s List honors in the spring of 2024.
AS A SENIOR (2025)
Completed a hole in one at the first day of play at the East Lake Cup...tied for 42nd in the Seminole Intercollegiate scoring 6-over, 216...tied for 14th play individually at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial scoring 1-over, 214...went 2-0 in match play at the ACC Championship after defeating Sihao Cong of California 2&1 and Ethan Paschal of North Carolina 4&2.
AS A JUNIOR (2024)
A redshirt season…a member of the team but did not play in any events.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
Played in four tournaments, carding a 72.33 scoring average…finished in a tie for 32nd place at the at the Seminole Intercollegiate, shooting an 11-over 227…tied for sixth at the Maui Jim Individual, shooting a 7-under par (70-72-67) 209…tied for 23rd at the Jackson Stephens Cup, shooting a 2-over par 218…career low single-round score of 66 in the second round of the 2023 Watersound Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN (2022)
Competed in five tournaments as a freshman, recording a 72.85 scoring average…played in his first collegiate tournament as an individual at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate, with rounds of 72-71-76 (+3, 219) and finished in a tie for 37th place…shot a 5-under par 208 (68-69-71) in the Cabo Collegiate Invitational, playing as an individual and finishing in a tie for 24th place…placed 36th at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational, shooting 1-over par (72-70-72)…played at both the ACC Championship and the NCAA Championship.

Born: January 16, 2003…Patrick is the son of Beth and John McCann…has a younger brother, Connor, who is in his freshman year at Florida State…has three holes in one on his golf resume – his first came in 2016 at Golden Eagle Country Club in Tallahassee on hole No. 7…his second came in 2023 during the Seminoles’ tournament at the Sharks Tooth Golf Club on hole No. 11…his third came in 2024 at the Glen Arvin Country Club in Thomasville, Ga., on hole No. 13…enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, and snow skiing…major is risk management insurance.
