All-ACC Academic Team...named the Golden Nole winner for men's swimming...placed second in the 200 IM (1:48.87) and second in the 100 back (48.24) at the FSU Invite...won the 100 fly (47.14) and 100 back (46.78) in the win at No. 23 Georgia Tech...won the 100 free (44.43) against Florida Southern...was the runner-up in the 100 fly (47.83) fourth in the 200 IM (1:51.78) and second in the 100 back (47.93) helping the Noles defeat No. 19 Alabama and LSU...Placed 11th in the 200 IM (1:44.35) sixth in the 100 fly (46.38) sixth in the 100 back (45.91) and 17th in the 200 back (1:43.11) at the Georgia Invite...finished fourth in the 100 back (49.18)  and eighth in the 50 free (21.90) against Harvard...won the 100 fly (47.69) and placed second in the 100 back (47.07) at No. 7 Georgia...tied for fifth in the 100 back (47.74) and was sixth in the 200 IM (1:53.06) against No. 4 Florida... placed fifth in the 200 IM (1:43.05) 13th in the 100 fly (46.06) and 11th in the 100 back (45.75) at the ACC Championships...helped the Noles finished fourth in the 200 medley fifth in the 200 free and fifth in the 400 free relay...brought home second team All-America honors in the 200 free and 200 medley relays at the NCAA Championships by placing 12th in both races...placed 33rd in the 200 IM (1:43.70) and 24th in the 100 back (45.50)

Coaches’ Award winner for the men’s team…voted as team captain for 2023-24...qualified for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100m fly behind a personal best of 52.90 at the Futures Championships in Ocala...finished sixth in the 100 back at 45.93 at the ACC Championships…was 20th in the 100 fly (46.52)…helped the Noles place eighth in the 200 medley relay (1:24.97) and 400 medley relay (3:08.08) as well as fifth in the 200 free relay (1:16.82) and sixth in the 400 free relay (2:50.71)… led off the 200 free relay time trial behind a personal best of 19.43…won the 100 back (47.84) and 200 back (1:48.35) at the TYR Classic…set the meet record in the 200 back…also helped the Noles win 200 and 400 medley relays as well as the 200 free relay…won 100 breaststroke against Florida Southern (55.50)…also helped Noles win 200 free relay against Florida Southern…helped Noles place second in 200 medley relay and won 100 back (46.90) against Georgia…also placed second in 100 fly (47.88) and placed second in 200 IM (1:49.10) against No. 7 Georgia…won the 100 back (46.25) and 100 fly (46.90) against Georgia Tech…was the runner-up in the 200 IM (1:48.38)…finished 17th in the 200 back (1:43.68) was ninth in the 200 IM (1:44.03) fourth in the 100 back (45.80) at the Georgia Invite…helped the Noles win the 200 medley relay at LSU…also won the 100 back (46.72) and 100 fly (47.47)…won the 100 back (47.39) and placed second in the 100 fly (47.68) against No. 3 Florida…won the 100 back (47.42) and helped the Noles win the 200 free relay against Tampa

2021-22

All-ACC Academic Team…voted MVP… selected as team captain for 2022-23..2022 NCAA qualifier in the 100 back…swam personal bests in the 100 back (45.66) and 200 back (1:44.04) at NCAAs  and was a part of the 200 and 400 free relays as well as the 200 and 400 medley relays…also led off with a career best 50 back in the 200 medley relay…led off the 200 medley relay that won bronze and set the FSU record at the ACC Championships…also swam on the 400 medley relay that placed seventh as well as the 200 and 400 free relays that both finished fifth…competed in the championship heat of the 100 back where he placed seventh at 46.42 after posting a 45.90 in prelims… placed 15th in the 200 IM (1:46.53) and also competed in the 200 back…lowered his Morcom Aquatics Center pool records in the 100 back (46.07) and 200 IM (1:47.35)…contributed to the new school record in the 200 medley relay, set personal best times in the 200 IM (1:44.87) and 200 back (1:44.26) and finished third in the 100 back (46.49) at the Georgia Tech Invitational…won three events against Florida Southern including the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, and 100 fly (48.56) and also took third in the 100 breast (56.56)…finished first in the 100 back (47.81) and 200 medley relay, second in the 200 back (1:48.46), and fourth in the 200 IM (1:52.52) against Georgia Tech…won all of his events against Auburn with victories in the 200 back (1:46.67)  200 medley relay, 100 back (47.37) and 200 IM (1:48.75)…placed first in all of his events at the TYR Fall Classic including meet record times in the 400 medley relay, 100 back (47.61), 200 medley relay, 200 back (1:48.35), and 200 IM (1:48.68) along with a winning performance in the 200 free relay

2020-21
Qualified for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100m back…All-ACC academic team member and CSCAA Scholar All-American...helped the Noles score in four relays at NCAAs for the first time since 1999…placed 11th in the 400 medley relay,14th in the 200 medley relay, 15th in the 200 free relay and 13th in the 400 free relay ….was 39th in the 200 IM (1:45.52) and 25th in the 100 back (46.50)…placed fifth in the 100 back at 46.10 after posting his personal best in prelims at 45.93 at the ACC Championships… was 17th in the 200 IM at a personal best at 1:44.94 and also competed in the 100 fly (46.88)…helped the Noles place fourth in the 200 medley and 400 free relay and fifth in the 200 free relay…set a Morcom Aquatics Center record in the 100 back (47.43) and in the 200 medley relay (1:26.85) against LSU…won the 100 breast (55.34) and 100 free (44.67) against Tampa…won the 100 back (48.09) and took second in the 200 back (1:48.64) against No. 22 Auburn… placed first in the 200 free (1:41.17) and 100 free (45.62) against Gardner-Webb…won the 100 back (48.05) and took third in the 100 fly (48.76) vs. LSU… finished seventh in the 200 back (1:45.16) and sixth in the 200 IM (1:46.90) at the Georgia Invite…was also fifth in the 100 fly (47.85) and fourth in the 100 back (47.14)  … also helped the Noles finish third in the 200 free relay (19.65) and 200 medley relay (21.67)…set a Morcom Aquatics Center record in the 100 back with a time of 47.43 vs. TCU… was also the runner up in the 100 fly (48.25) against the Horned Frogs…won the 100 back (48.20) and placed third (48.56) in the 100 fly against RV Georgia Tech

HIGH SCHOOL
Was named the Oviedo High School Student-Athlete of the Year where he holds the school record in the 100 breast (56.43) and as a member of the 200 medley relay…was an All-American in three events as a senior…a two-time FHSAA State Champion and took home team MVP honors…a junior national and futures qualifier as a member of the Blue Dolphins swim team where he is coached by Charlie Rose

PERSONAL
Born Jan. 21, 2002…son of Darlene and Jim Herbet…twin sister Jaden is also on the team…a member of National Honors Society and Beta Club…a four-year Principal’s honor roll member…Lamp of Knowledge award winner…a Scholastic All-American… capstone Diploma and has his BACE Certification…plans to major in mechanical engineering
