Enters junior season as the Seminoles’ top hammer throw competitor…has worked diligently with coach Harlis Meaders to improve his mechanics in an event he picked up after arriving in Tallahassee.
2011
Outdoor – scored in seven of eight meets for the Seminoles in the hammer throw…finished sophomore season on a high note, placing seventh at ACC Outdoor Championships with a personal-best of 54.71m (179-6)…two weeks later finished third at Seminole Twilight with his second-best effort of the year (53.60m/175-10).
2010
Outdoor – competed in both the hammer and discus as a redshirt freshman for the Seminoles…saw action in five meets…saved his best for last with PR’s in the discus (40.98m/134-5) and the hammer (49.21/161-5) at Seminole Twilight.
Personal
Majoring in chemical engineering…attended Astronaut High where he finished third in 2A state meet in the discus as a senior…brother Richard was a distance runner at FSU and cousin Kendall is on women’s roster as a distance runner…born Sept. 23, 1989.
