An outstanding defensive presence and swift base runner, Rosario played in 67 games and made 22 starts in the outfield as the Seminoles earned their first NCAA National Championship…set career highs with 15 different categories, including 12 hits, three doubles, two triples, five RBI, 26 runs scored, nine walks and 10 stolen bases…committed just one error in 30 defensive chances in the outfield on the season…batted 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored against Portland State on opening day (February 9)…hit a triple off the top of the wall at Texas State on February 10, added a stolen base and a run scored…walked three times and scored two runs against Portland State on Feb. 10…hit an RBI triple versus Florida A&M on February 14 and scored two runs…walked and added a base hit against No. 20 Michigan on February 18…hit a single and scored a run against Hofstra on March 3 in the Unconquered Invitational…drew a walk, stole a base and scored a run at North Florida on March 10…scored a run in all three games of the Syracuse series on March 23-25, adding a double, two walks and an RBI…hit a two-run single as part of a nine-run inning at Georgia Tech on April 1…put down a bunt single at Boston College on April 14 and later scored…stole a base and scored a run on April 28 at Notre Dame…pinch-ran and stole a base against Louisville in an ACC quarterfinal game on May 10…was hit by a pitch in game three of the NCAA Super Regional against No. 11 LSU on May 26…hit a double off USA Softball National Player of the Year Rachel Garcia in the opening game of the Women’s College World Series on May 31…pinch-ran and scored a run in both games against UCLA in the NCAA semifinals on June 3.
Competed in 51 games, with five starts, primarily as a pinch-runner or a defensive replacement in the outfield in late-game situations…tallied a .300 batting average on the season, with three of her six hits going for extra bases on two triples and a home run…drove in three RBI and scored 18 runs of her own…was perfect in 17 defensive chances in the outfield…pinch ran, stole a base and scored a run against Northwestern on February 18…hit a single and scored a run in FSU’s 8-2 win over Stanford (Feb 23)…put down a sacrifice bunt against No. 6 UCLA…pinch ran and scored a run against Georgia Tech on March 4…scored a run in game one of the doubleheader against North Florida on March 8…pinch ran and scored a run against Florida Gulf Coast (3/14), Canisius (3/15) and Notre Dame (3/17)…scored a run in FSU’s 12-4 win over Pitt on April 1…walked twice, drove in a run and scored one of her own on April 29 against North Carolina…hit a triple, walked and scored twice in FSU 6-2 win against UNC on April 30…led off the 11th inning against No. 1 Florida on May 3 with a triple and scored the game-winning run as Alex Powers hit a walk-off home run…recorded her second career home run against Virginia in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament (5/11)…had a pinch-hit single against Princeton in the NCAA Regionals on May 19…singled, walked and scored two runs in the NCAA Super Regional game against LSU on May 28.
Played in 57 games, including three starts in the outfield…batted .212 (7-for-33) on the season with three RBI and six runs scored…made 18 pinch running appearances and often entered the game as a defensive replacement in the outfield…walked and scored a run at FIU on Feb. 12…knocked a single to center and scored a run versus Valparaiso on Feb. 14…scored one run on a walk and stole a base against Michigan on Feb. 19…made a game-saving catch at the wall at No. 13 UCLA on March 4. With the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the seventh, she caught the ball, crashed into the wall to secure the 3-0 victory…batted 1-for-2 with one RBI against UC Davis (Mar. 5)…hit a sacrifice fly against Cal Poly on March 12…hit an RBI single on the road at North Carolina on March 25…pinch ran and stole a base against Jacksonville (April 6)…hit a single at Boston College on April 17…pinch ran and scored against Florida A&M on May 5…drew a walk against Pitt in the ACC Quarterfinal on May 12…walked and scored a run in a 7-1 victory over North Carolina in the ACC Semifinal (May 13)…recorded an infield single, stole second base and came around to score in the final game of the NCAA Super Regional against Utah on May 28…played in all four games at the 2016 Women’s College World Series.
Played in 38 games with 12 starts as a true freshman…started four games in left field, two games in centerfield and six games in right field on the season…batted .190 (8-for-42) with a double, triple, home run and five RBI…she posted three walks and scored nine runs…her first career hit went for a double against Georgia Southern on February 7…had a two-RBI single against Oklahoma State at the Mary Nutter Classic on February 20…went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and a triple (all career-highs) against Bethune-Cookman on March 6…was 1-for-3 from the plate with an RBI versus Coastal Carolina on March 8…drew the first walk of her career at Florida Atlantic on March 10…had a base hit and scored a run against Pitt on March 28…made her first career pitching appearance on April 8 against No. 3 Florida, retiring both batters she faced including a strikeout of All-American Kelsey Stewart…hit her first career home run at Georgia Tech on April 25…the two-run HR proved to be the difference in a 3-2 win for the Seminoles….had a base hit off the bench at North Florida and closed out the game in the circle, inducing a ground out to secure the 15-1 victory on May 3…competed with the Puerto Rico National Team at the 2015 WBSC Junior World Championships, placing third with wins over Canada, Mexico and China.
Played on the West Florida Elite travel team since June 2012…named West Florida High School’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2011, Offensive Player of the Year in 2012 and Most Valuable Player in both 2013 and 2014…earned Class 5A All-Florida honorable mention honors in 2012 and 2013…won Florida’s District 1 5A Player of the Year and was WFHS’s Wendy’s High School Heisman representative (2013)…led her team to the FHSAA 4A State Championship in 2014 with a 28-1 record and an 0.19 ERA with 323 strikeouts…Named All-Area Pitcher of the Year, Pensacola News Journal Female Athlete of the Year, FHSAA 4A Player of the Year and the Florida Dairy Farmers “Miss Softball” in 2014…selected to the 2014 MaxPreps All-American team and the 2014 FACA All-Star Team.
