Kathryn Yannes was hired as the associate director of facilities and event management at Florida State in 2023 and is in her third year with the Seminoles entering 2025. In her current role, Yannes serves as the primary event manager and works with a variety of constituents on capital projects for baseball at Dick Howser Stadium after previously holding a similar position for Florida State at the Seminole Soccer and Softball Complex.
Yannes came to Florida State after working for Penn from 2015-22, climbing from assistant director and associate director to director in 2021. With the Quakers, Yannes was responsible for the event management for Penn's 33 Division I teams, special events and the Penn Relays, totaling more than 450 events annually.
Yannes earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers in 2011 and received her master's in higher education administration from Penn in 2017.
