A talented golfer who has excelled at the highest levels of amateur and junior golf who will have the opportunity join the Seminoles’ lineup upon her arrival as at Florida State as a freshman…has gained tremendous experience as she has played and been successful at tournaments around the world…her game will travel and allow her to play well no matter the climate or type of grass…is most comfortable with her iron play and putting…spends much of her time practicing with those two clubs…her best career wins have come at the Queensland Junior Amateur Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2024…finishing in third place at the 2025 Singapore Open and seventh in the 2024 Australian Masters are also among the highlights of her amateur career…begins her Florida State career ranked No. 140 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.

Made her collegiate debut in Florida State’s lineup at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, helping the Seminoles to a sixth-place team finish..finished in a tie for 21st place in the individual standings at the Schooner Fall Classic...helped Florida State to a sixth place finish at the season-opening Folds of Honor Collegiate...was in a tie for 31st place with a first round score of 76 after the first 18 holes of the Folds of Honor Collegiate...a score of 75 in the second round and a two round total of 151 had her in a tie for 26th place in the individual standings after 36 of 54 holes...carded scores of 76-75-77 for a three round total of 228 and a tied for 32nd place finish at the Folds of Honors in her collegiate debut...scored a career low score of 70 in the first round of the Schooner Fall Classic...a second round score of 71 for a 36-hole total of 141 and in a tie for 29th place in the individual standings after two rounds of the Schooner Fall Classic..finished in a tied for 21st place in the individual standings of the Schooner Fall Classic with scores of 70-71-69 and an even par total of 210...helped the Seminoles finish in sixth place in the team standings at the Schooner...

Graduated from Robina State High School in 2025…named as Robina’s Sportswoman of the Year in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024…the school’s house captain in 2024…the medalist at the 2025 North Harbour Strokeplay Championship…the 2021, 2022 and 2024 Queensland Junior Amateur champion…earned a first place finish at the Australian Girls Order of Merit in 2021 and a second place finish in in 2022...finished as the medalist winner at the Queensland Girls Order of Merit in 2022…finished in third place at the Australian Junior Amateur Championship in 2021 and 2023…extremely successful in her amateur tournament career with a first place finishes at the Queenland Women’s Order of Merit in 2022, the South Pacific Women’s Open in 2022 and the NSW Amateur Stroke play championship in 2023…a second place finish at the Port Phillip Open Amateur and the Victorian Amateur in 2025 and a third place finish at the Singapore Open Amateur Championship in 2025…earned an incredible 15-shot win at the 2021 Tasmania Junior Masters…also earned medalist honors at the 2021 South Pacific Ladies Open and the Greg Norman Junior Masters…the champion at the 2024 NextGen Amateur Tour at Pelican Waters and the NextGen Amateur Tour at Maroochy River…top five individual finishes at the the Auckland Stroke Play Championship and the Victorian Junior Amateur…has earned 17 career top-10 finishes.

PERSONAL
Born August 3, 2006…Haruhi is the daughter of Tomohiro and Hitomi Nakatani…a brother, Manato Nakatani, is also an outstanding golfer and is a student-athlete member of the golf team at the University of Maryland…the sister and brother duo became the first siblings to win the men’s and women’s titles in at the same year at the 2020 Rod Pampling/Katherine Kirk Classic…both Haruhi and Manato as they gained wins at the 2017 British Junior Golf Super Six Series at the Cambridge Meridian Golf Club…earned the academic Excellence Award at Robina High School in 2019, 2029, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024…presented with the Principle’s Aawrd for Academic Excellence in 2024…began playing golf at the Shire Golf Club in London when she was nine years old…has lived in New York for two years, Tokyo for five years, London for five years, and on the Gold Coast of Australia for the last seven years...major is economics.
