ON ARKADIANOU

A team leader for the Florida State Women’s Tennis program…was a member of four NCAA Tournaments teams..helped the Seminoles reach the Quarterfinals in 2021...earned 29 total victories in the spring of 2024...fnished ranked No. 85 in doubles with Vic Allen..totaled 20 wins in the 2023 spring season…finished the year ranked No. 74 in singles and No. 70 in doubles (with Millie Bissett)…competed in the singles competition of the 2023 NCAA Tournament …played in the doubles competition of the 2022 NCAA Tournament with former Seminole great Petra Hule…was her first career appearance in the event…Arkadianou and Hule finished the spring 2022 season as the No. 25 ranked doubles pair in the ITA rankings…the pair jumped into the top-20 in the national rankings with a sensational spring as they won eight matches including a victory over the No. 2 seeded par in the NCAA Championships (Elizabeth Scotty and Fiona Crawley) in the quarterfinals of the ACC Championship…the Tar Heel duo was ranked No. 1 nationally at the time (April 22) of the victory…Arkadianou and Hule also won their first round doubles match in the Seminoles’ win over FIU in the first round of the NCAA Championship (May 7)… has earned Academic Dean’s List Honors two times (fall 2022 and spring 2023)… named a 2023 and 2024 ITA Scholar athlete…made 2023 and 2024 ACC Academic Honor Roll... earned 2023 and 2024 All-ACC Academic team.
 

SPRING 2024

Totaled 29 wins in the 2024 spring season (17 in singles and 12 in doubles)...earned four ranked victories in singles and one in doubles…won 13 singles matches from a span of February 25th to April 19th….defeated Antonia Balzert of No. 20 Miami 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles to help the Seminoles advance to the semifinals of the ACC Championships…won 7-5 over No. 55 Mai Nirundorn and Guillermina Grant of No. 7 Georgia with Ellie Schoppe at No. 2 doubles to clinch the doubles point in the second round of the NCAA Tournament…won 6-2, 6-3 over Alexis Cyborg to help the Seminoles sweep UNC Asheville to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament…earned a 7-6(2) win over No. 29 Sofia Cabezas and Elza Tomase of No. 20 Tennessee at No. 1 doubles…defeated No. 76 Anna Zyryanova 6-2, 6-7, 1-0(7)  at No. 3 singles to help the Seminoles defeat No. 15 NC State on the road…dominated No. 76 Sara Ziodato 6-3, 6-3 of No. 5 Virginia at No. 3 singles …helped the Seminoles upset No. 14 Duke with a 6-1, 6-1 win over No. 76 Katie Todd…won 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 over No. 114 Antonia Balzert of Miami.

Finished the Spring season ranked No. 85 in Doubles with Vic Allen...ranked as high at No. 65 on May 2nd... was ranked in doubles for six consecutive weeks with Vic Allen No. 80 (April 2), No. 74 (April 9), No. 67 (April 16), No. 70 (April 23), No. 65 (May 2), and No. 85 (May 29)...ranked No. 34 with Millie Bissett in ITA Preseason Doubles Rankings


FALL 2023
Finished the 2023 Fall season with nine victories (six in singles and three in doubles)...won the Flight A singles bracket at the UNF Invite with a (7-6 (3), 6-1) win over Nicole Teodosescu of Indiana, (6-4, 6-4) win over Grace Schumacher of USF, and (7-6 (3), 4-6, 7-6 (5)) over Annabelle Davis of UNF....won (6-3) over Ana Carmen Zamburek and Jillian Roa of Nebraska in doubles with Cade Cricchio at the UNF Invite...defeated Shelly Bereznyak of Ohio State (6-3, 6-1) at the ITA All-American Championships...advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in singles with a (7-5, 4-6, 6-4) win over Cheri Darley of Stetson University and (6-3, 6-3) win over Amy Kaplan of UNF....advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Southeast Regional Champships in doubles with (8-0) win over Jalayah Shaw and Nloga Imbo of Bethune-Cookman and Carol Lee and Kylie Bilchec (8-7(3)) of Georgia Tech with Vic Allen.


Spring 2023

Totaled 20 wins over the 2023 spring season (6 in singles and 14 in doubles) …led the team with 14 wins in doubles…was a key component in the singles and doubles lineup as the Seminoles reached the Round of 32 in the NCAA Championships and quarterfinals of the ACC Championship…competed in the 2023 NCAA Singles Tournament…defeated the 24th-ranked Kylie Bilchev (6-2, 6-2) at No. 2 singles and Monika Dedaj/Kate Sharabura (6-4) at No. 2 doubles with Millie Bissett in a 4-3 team victory against No. 20 Georgia Tech…won against the 119th nationally ranked Marice Agular of No. 46 Boston College at No. 1 singles (6-4, 6-1) and Hailey Wilcox and Seren Agar (6-4) with Bissett at No. 2 doubles in a 5-2 team win…earned a victory at No. 2 singles against Dariya Radulova (6-2, 6-2) and at No. 1 doubles against Tamara Barad and Itzhaki Ozlem Uslu (6-2) with Ellie Schoppe to claim the doubles point and 5-2 team victory against No. 64 Virginia Tech…claimed a (6-3) victory at No. 2 doubles against Daniella Medvedeva and Cristina Mayorova with Bissett in a 4-1 team win against No. 37 Clemson…claimed the doubles point against the 5th-ranked NC State with a (6-4) win at No. 2 doubles with Bissett against the 9th nationally ranked Amella Rajecki and Nell Miller…defeated Carly Briggs and Alicia Dudeney (6-2) to secure the doubles point against No. 18 Florida.

Ranked No. 74 in the final ITA singles rankings of the 2022-23 season…ranked as high as No. 52 nationally in singles (Nov 16) …was ranked in singles for eleven consecutive weeks No. 52 (Nov 16), No. 59 (Feb 8), No. 59 (Feb 21), No. 70 (March 7), No. 67 (March 21), No. 83 (April 4), No. 83 (April 11), No. 59 (April 18), No. 64 (April 25), No. 64 (May 4), No. 74 (May 31).
 

2022-23 NATIONAL DOUBLES RANKINGS

Ranked No. 70 in the final ITA doubles rankings of the 2022-23 season with Millie Bissett…together they had an 8-4 record at No. 2 doubles and were ranked as high as No. 49 nationally…ranked for seven straight weeks No. 49 (March 21), No. 66 (April 4), No. 55 (April 11), No. 56 (April 18), No. 52 (April 25), No. 55 (May 4), No. 70 (May 31)…ranked No. 79 with Vic Allen during the week of March 21st, 2023...Ranked No. 49 nationally in the preseason ITA doubles rankings for the 2022-23 season with Vic Allen…ranked in No. 52 nationally in the post fall season ITA singles rankings after earning a 10-3 singles record during the Seminoles’ four-match fall 2022 season…
 

FALL 2022

Earned a 5-1 record at the Four in The Fall Tournament at the University of Alabama…was undefeated (3-0) in singles and won two of her three (2-1) doubles matches to begin the season…her first singles victory of the season came as a 2-6, 7-6 (3), 10-7 win over Maggie White of UAB in the first round…upped her record to 2-0 in singles play at the Four in the Fall Tournament with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Rebeka Kern of Alabama on day two of the tournament…a third singles win with a 6-0 (4), 6-5 win over Kida Ferrari (Illinois)…two doubles wins…teamed with freshman Millie Bissett to gain doubles wins over Anna Parkhomenko and Klara Milicevic of Alabama (6-4) as well as Maggie White and Sydney Clark of UBA (7-5) on the second day of the tournament…totaled a 4-4 record at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship…was 3-2 in singles play and 1-2 in doubles play…teamed with Ellie Schoppe to earn an 8-2 win over Noa Cohen and Nededja Maslova of Stetson…was 0-2 in singles play as she faced Kit Gulihur of UNF (1-6, 4-6) and Alejandra Cruz of Georgia Tech (2-6, 6-7)…finished with a 1-3 record at the San Juan Invitational…earned her victory in singles play with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Julia Fleigner of Michigan…played doubles with both Millie Bissett (against Celia-Belle Mohr and Anessa Lee of Vanderbilt) and with Vic Allen (against Ava Mrkham and Maria Sjolokova of Wisconsin)…totaled a 5-1 record at the UNF Invitational…was 3-0 in singles and won a flight championship while teaming with Vic Allen and earning a 2-1 record in doubles play and finishing as a flight finalist…singles wins came against Grace Schumacher of USF (6-3, 6-3), Marie Mattell of UCF (2-6, 6-2 (10-2) and Ruxi Schech of UNC Charlotte (6-2, 6-1) to gain the flight championship…doubles wins with Vic Allen came against Laura Pellicer and Ireland Simme of USF (6-0) and Schech and Kaavya Sawnhey of UNC Charlotte (win by default) before falling in the flight finals to Sophia Biolay and Maria Mattel of UCF (7-5)…

Ranked No. 20 nationally in the final ITA doubles rankings of the 2021-22 season with Petra Hule…ranked as high as No. 16 during the final week of the regular season…played in the NCAA Doubles Championships with Hule at the University of Illinois…Arkadianou and Hule fell to Janice Tjen and Savannah Broadus of Pepperdine in the first round of the NCAA Doubles Championships…first national ranking of No. 68 with Petra Hule came during the week of April 13…nationally ranked during the weeks of April 13 (No. 68), April 20 (No. 58), April 27 (No. 17) and May 4 (No. 16).
 

2021-22 REGIONAL DOUBLES RANKINGS

Regionally ranked No. 4 as a doubles pair with Petra Hule during her sophomore season.
 

SPRING 2022

Helped Florida State to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Championships…played in the NCAA Double Championships with former Seminole Petra Hule…the Florida State duo lost to Janice Tjen and Savannah Broadus of Pepperdine by a 2-6, 3-6 score in the round of 32 at the NCAA Championships…totaled an 11-11 record in singles with her biggest win of the spring coming as a 7-6 (7-5), 5-7, 14-12 win over No. 10 ranked Reilly Tran of North Carolina during the regular season…totaled 22 wins during the season with11 each coming in singles and doubles…earned six singles wins in ACC play with victories coming against Clemson, Virginia Tech, Duke, North Carolina, Louisville, and Syracuse…Florida State’s third leading winner in singles play with 11 victories…totaled 11 doubles victories with four coming in ACC play, two coming in the ACC Championships and one in Florida State’s victory over FIU in the first round of the NCAA Championships…became a permanent partner of Petra Hule on March 11 and the duo played 12 of their final 13 matches of the spring season as a dynamic doubles pair…the pair won seven of the final 15 matches of the season and were invited to play in the NCAA Doubles competition…Arkadianou and Hule finished with a 10-8 record when playing together…gained ACC Championship wins (with Hule) in doubles against No. 1 ranked Elisabeth Scotty and Fiona Crawley of North Carolina (6-4, April 22) and No. 20 ranked Page Freeman and Maria Olivia Castedo of Duke (6-4, April 21) in the ACC Championships…Arkadianou and Hule also won their first round doubles match in the Seminoles’ win over FIU in the first round of the NCAA Championship (May 7)…totaled a 1-1 record in doubles play in the Torero Invitational at the University of San Diego…played with Vic Allen and gained a 6-3 in a win over Rachel Krzyzak and Sabrina Machallov of Old Miss…the pair then fell to Metka Komac and Olivia Peet of Texas Tech by a 6-3 score.
 

FALL 2021

Advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships in singles…gained a 6-2, 6-2 win over Yasmine Kabbaj of FIU before falling to Rosie Gross of Georgia Tech by a 5-7, 4-6 score. 
 

SPRING 2021

Helped the Seminoles advance to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament…Florida State defeated Alabama State, 4-0; Auburn, 4-1; and Texas A&M, 4-2, in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 before falling to Texas, 4-0, in the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament…the Seminoles were ranked No. 7 nationally during the NCAA Tournament…appeared in nine matches in both singles and doubles during her first year of competition…was 4-5 in singles play…recorded wins in three singles matches versus ranked opponents…notched a win in an early-season tournament against an opponent from #4 Georgia and recorded a singles win in a single match against Jaleesa Leslie of No. 11 UCF and Natalie Novotna of No. 44 Syracuse…played five of her seven singles matches on court three…also gained wins over Ania Hertal of Georgia and Sophia Hatton of Clemson…played five of her matches on court three, one on court four and one on court five…went 5-1 in doubles play…posted a 3-0 record in doubles play in tournaments…won her doubles match in an early-season dual versus #49 UNF…gained five consecutive wins against Clemson (Cristina Mayorova and Laura Marti), Georgia (Morgan Coppoc and Meg Kowlaski), Clemson (MacKenzy Middlebrooks and Jenna Thompson) and North Florida (Constanza Gorches and Lucia Montano) while paired with Victoria Allen…gained her fifth consecutive win against Boston College (Loren Haulova and Natasha irani) when paired with Giulia Pairone. 
 

BEFORE FLORIDA STATE

Represented her home country of Greece in the 2019 Fed Cup against Great Britain…advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2018 World Mediterranean Games…ITF 120 Juniors…European Championships 2017 Moscow…2018 and 20189 Klosters…a member of Florida States’ 17th-ranked recruiting class in 2020.
