Earned a first place win in the triple jump (12.78m) at the Terry Long FSU Relays...Placed fourth in the triple jump (12.57m) at the Florida Relays...Earned another third place finish in the triple jump (12.64m) at the LSU Alumni Gold... Competed at the East Coast Relays in the triple jump, placing fifth with a mark of 12.68m (41-07.25)... Competed at the ACC Outdoor Championships in the triple jump placing sixth with a mark of 12.84m (42-1½)... Competed at the NCAA East First round inthe triple jump, placing 10th with a mark of 13.01m (42-8.5). The No. 1 triple jumper in the nation coming out of high school…Was undefeated in the 2021 season in the triple jump and has won 18 consecutive triple jump titles dating back to July 11, 2020…Is a three-time All-American and is a Georgia state champion in the triple jump…She also was the Nike National triple jump champion and the USATF triple jump champion…Is a member of the Spanish Honors Society and the National Honors Society…Was a member of the Spanish club at her high school and also participated on the Carrollton High School gymnastics team…Kayla is the daughter of Kisha and Durell Pinkard…Her mom played basketball at Georgia College and her uncle, Kevin Dix, played football at Jacksonville State.
