Devynn Merriman

Devynn Merriman joined the Florida State football program as assistant director of recruiting operations in April of 2024 after serving two years as FSU volleyball's director of operations. She was elevated to her current role of director of football finance in 2025.
Merriman's role with the football program includes responsibilities in business and logistics functions, including coach travel and official and unofficial visits to Tallahassee.
Merriman came to Tallahassee after working as an intern with the Indiana Sports Corp in Indianapolis, where she managed hospitality for athletes, coaches and officials. She also spent one season with the Terre Haute Rex collegiate summer baseball team, working with marketing, ticket sales and sponsorships.
A former volleyball student-athlete at her alma mater, Indiana State, Merriman was a defensive specialist and also spent two years on ISU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She moved into a student assistant coach role and continued contributing to the volleyball program in practice and game day operations. During the 2020-21 academic year, Merriman interned with Indiana State's athletic department and gained experience in sponsorships, sports information and digital content.
Merriman earned her bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in business from Indiana State in 2021.
